- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Wasted two weeks calling and running around to numerous other banks and credit unions. Just needed to open a simple bank IRA to do a partial rollover. Most places wanted me to make an appointment and / or drive 40 miles to get some complicated brokerage account with all the bells and whistles. I was rapidly running out of time to get this done and in the mail to TRS before they took away my birthday. Almost as an afterthought, I called. An actual person answered! She even said "yes" when I asked if they could do this. I gathered my paperwork and tore through the 1960 traffic to try to get there before closing time. Truly amazing! - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Bank hours could be better, the majority of the people work until 4pm. May benefit alot of people if bank stays open at the least until 5pm. Or place one of those personal video tellers like they have in modern cities like Tampa, Fl. Teller will be able to help with at least some more basic banking services.
